communicate freely in English
For a promise
The Dreaming Together project began as a mission to fulfill the promise I made to a young boy I met in Ecuador. When I was in middle school, I volunteered to teach English in Mexico and Ecuador and promised to come back the following year. However, I was unable to keep that promise due to the pandemic that brought the world to a halt. To keep my promise to young Miguel, with the help of my brother, I founded this nonprofit organization known as the “Dreaming Together Project”, aimed to teach impoverished foreign students conversational English, and to organize and guide members in unity to accomplish the goal of education.
9 branches in 5 countries
Now that promise is now shared not only with Miguel but also with over 150 students through 9 branches in 5 countries. The project, which was launched for teaching middle and high school students, is now reaching out to college students as well. Mentors from each country are becoming closer to their mentees through free conversation for an hour, once a week.
Dreaming Together assists youth around the world who want to communicate freely in English, regardless of race, religion, or gender. Dreaming Together supports youth around the world who want learning opportunities but cannot easily get them. We want to work with you to create a world where we can dream together.
